YOU MUST PRODUCE YOUR FIGURES... why not produce them...

A question very important for me... what do you use to do the metallic balls...

Hi, guilhem, thanks for your attention, for now, miniatures remain a niche buy in China, I would send these masters to a friend whom would copy some .He had the idea. However, I could change arm、helmet 、weapon、 leg、even change pose.....etc...

Metallic balls was 0.35mm ,I bought online....used copper sheet pressed it down when greenstuff doesn't harden.

Dear Lirui

I just want to let you know I am admiring your work since the day I joined this forum.
Very inspiring to see how you make conversions and human figures from scratch and everything in between. Compliments for your photo graphics too: very close, very good light and very good focussed so I can see exactly, in all detail, what you have to show. Please go on posting this kind of work.

By the way: Chinese walls and fortresses from early Warring States, Qin, Han, Bei Wei and Jin Dynasties have my special interest.

I have a little question .. the " Datong garrison army " .. did they only use arkebuses and "Three eye Blunderbuss" ,or did they also use other weapons ???

Hi DickerThomas,YES,the main weapon. They also had "雁翎刀"or"腰刀",one kind of blade. According to the history books,Datong only sent 500 regular armymen to Korea, Ming army's total number of troops were 48000. (The first war)

Hello Lirui,

many thanks for this information :-D

Did the Ming Army have had a troop (uniform) of Bowmen ? a troop that mainly used Bows and Arrows ? and when "yes", did they have a special uniform ??

Manny thanks for your help because it's not so easy to get many info's about this period and uniforms from the Ming-Chinese Army ... i have many information from the korean and japanese armies but not from the chinese ... even they played a bigger role in this war ...

Hi DickerThomas:

Bow was main weapon for militia garrison"卫所兵“,uniform as my sixth master ,little or no armour . Their morale was low, so fighting capacity is very low, Ming bow were better at range but low power to Japanese bow.

Liaodong border region armymen, most of them has a bow and arrow, others used Three eye blunderbuss , blunderbuss also was blunt-melee weapon.

"not so easy to get many info's about this period and uniforms from the Ming-Chinese Army " :( :(

Sad~~~~This topic is so heavy.
Because of the later Qing dynasty , we, Han nationality were conquered by Manchu , the Jurchen , they smeared history, delete a lot of information , force us keep long braids , destroyed our 4000 year's dress culture........Regardless of whether we confirm or deny, history will exist forever. :-)

I had some pictures may help you , if you interested, tell me your email address please....

Crossbow was very rare used in battle . Just the opposite to two thousand years ago's Qin army

根据《明实录》和《大明会典》记载,明初步兵的构成为“二十牌、四十枪、三十弓、十铳”
According to 《明实录 》and《大明会典 》, Ming infantry "20 shield with blade , 40 spear, 30 bow, 10 blunderbuss" , a unit.
