Fantastic painting as always. Did Chinese soldiers also have multi-colour painted faces on their shields? I thought only Koreans did, and the Chinese had black outlines with no colouring in on theirs.

Oh bro, your work looks so amazing. I wish I would have your painting technique and skills :D
I hope my figures will look at least a bit as amazing as yours.

I've already used every superlative I know to describe these figures. I would comment that 2 of the figures look oversized by comparison. Could just be my eyes however.

In those days, emissaries continuous came to center of empire, Beijing , they proud to call themselves "朝天使", they brought back not only knowledge and information but also current fashions, innovations in technology and military equipment.
After the downfall of Ming Dynasty, Koreans lost all faith, they missing the Ming Dynasty, from then on, emissaries to Beijing records for "燕行“not”朝天“.They believed , like the Han, the saying:Nomads rule lasted no more than a hundred years.

At the rate you're going it's like you're trying to replicate every soldier that actually existed in the Ming army lol. How close are you to completing? Do you think this will be one of those projects that just never finishes? I hope so, I love seeing these pics!

Such nicely balanced and sculpted physiques on these figures, rendered very naturally. I'm amazed at the variety of figures you already have on this project. This is a real treasure.

The first step is always difficult, and I spent very little time on this project in 2017-2019, besides sculpting for others continuous until now.
Limited time, working days 1 to 2 hours after work (AB putty); mainly on weekends now(painting).I think it was half complete, The Japanese will be faster, ready to use ,ZVEZDA, just need to make some changes.
