Posted by DickerThomas on 10 Jul 2015, 13:28

Hello everyone,

as one of the members fo Hagen Miniatures i would liked to show some Pictures of Ming Chinese Troops which were built as enemies to fight against the "samurai" for the actual Imjin-War-Range ( or the japanese Invasion of Korea 1592 - 1598), my friend Leonardo (Phersu) sculpted these figures for me.... and many more... and are built as artillery and siege and light infanrty troops

Here are the Pictures from the first Master-figures which will be soon availlable in the shop

Good use of boxes and ladders with Ming Troops,as an illustration.
It`s good to nudge imaginations in this way.Well done on all the work.BB

Best of all it looks as though you're building a complete range (cavalry?) which is so important for an unusual period like this.

Well... ahem!
To be honest, this project was supposed to be already much ahead right now, but I'm late on schedule and sculpting... as usual.
Sorry Thomas... :( ;-)

Unfortunately I had some contingencies that delayed everything, especially my recent project of the ancient temple and its casting were not easy as I hoped, they took much longer than I expected... :sweatdrop:

But at long last now I started, I'm quite slow sculpting but it won't be a matter of more than a couple of months at the latest, or hopefully earlier, to have all the new set masters ready. ;-)

Then it will take some time for producing the set, but Thomas and Hagen usually are quite quick at casting and producing new sets... much quicker than me at sculpting! ;-)

This is gonna be a great range of figures, Phersu and Dicker Thomas!

Did you hear about the STONE MING CANNON?
Yes I did not believe my ears myself. Not the projectile but the cannon itself was made of one piece of massive rock. Some of these are exhibited in the Shanhaiguan Great Wall Museum I remember.
