The dogs are Valdemar and sculpt by our friend Alex. They are from the hunting-scene-set. Roland, what can I say? Now that I know which dogs you have used I can intended my question about the manufacturer actually as a compliment for your painting only. I did not recognize though these dogs are not unknown for me! That can only mean that you have given them your very own "gloss"...

fifty shades of wood:

I like your 50 shades of wood.
For outdoor situations, the grey tones seem most realistic.
The browns only make sense for indoor or impregnated wood.
But the browns are more colorfull so more beautifull.
Its a dilemma I am facing every time again.

So how do you choose the right tone for wooden objects?
