Medieval town and port

Posted by Cryns on 26 Sep 2016, 09:32

I have to say the landscape is fascinating. That typical Northern European wasteland, like heather land with bush and small trees. trees that have been cut down if I see it right. But for what reason I don't know yet... I will waite until added figures give us a clue.

I love it a lot. Well done.

Am I right that these are some try-outs before you put them for good on the diorama, Wolfgang?

Looks excellent BTW!

A little town market true, but it does look a great one with every piece hand painted beautifully!
Congratulations on every astonishing phase of the work.

The main reasons for becoming a member quite a few years ago now,was to be able to comment in English upon topics great like this one, but also small individual ones that skip upon the page in absolute delightful fun.

As for this medieval topic of visual splendor, with its many characters colourfully portrayed within their own station in life, they can invoke fantastic tales ,along with many an outstanding true one.

Well at least in my overactive vivid imagination anyway. :-D BB

It´s perfect, it´s impressive and very realistic - I am missing only still some more dirt on the ground or in the corners.

Wolfgang one picture looks even better than an other one.
The colors of dresses are very realistic.
Some attention to the ground-work:
How big is the difference with the Rosenberg Fortress diorama having light, almost white earth colors. In this town it is dark and grey and looking wet and muddy. Which fits with the geographical circumstances I think. Rosenberg is much more south and different geologic circumstances. Well done. Also the straw on top of the mud works excellent. :yeah:
