I still don't find it easy to paint the figures as they are in the vehicles! But if you can, respect!

Many thanks for your support Peter (and all the others who enjoy looking at my work, I've just started some more japanese vehicules to make a good balance, Japan had much less tanks than the US but they tried to compensate with bunkers, most of their military budget was dedicated to their huge fleet. Those vehicules will be represented as if they're stationned close to facilities, airfield and so on.

I've already done a lot for this project but more is to come. The Airfix Chi-ha is one of the easiest kit I've ever built, very confortable, the tracks are fairly soft but suit well, those tanks are ready for painting and it will take probably more time with the brush for the camo, see this link :

On this link plenty of valuable photo (back and forward) of WWII tanks and planes in color ! the quality is amazing ! now starting with the trucks. :D I will tell if they're good to build or not, this is a new manufacturer : "ACE"

The japanese fuel truck is also ready for painting, like all the hasegawa range of vehicule in this scale everything fit perfectly, I've painted inside the cabin with Tamiya XF13 J.A. Green, and also performed some plastic surgery with figures to have one more sitting drivers, I keep them for the japanese car.

Your comments are appreciated dykio !
I've built the japanese car (Ace Manufacturer from Ukraine) and I'm positively surprised by this kit, every part fit extremely well and it's easy to assemble, on the other side the notice look complex at the first glance but it's accurate with all the details, and very well described if you look with attention. There's also some small flash to remove on some parts but I think anybody can build this kit, including beginners, it's clearly the level of an Airfix kit ! it took me 6 to 7 hours to build it, it's not that fast for such small model (because of cleaning parts) but it's not difficult neither, I can recommend it, I'm very pleased by the result.

The 2 pickup are ready for painting, it's built the same way than the car with the same ease, the loads are made by a piece of wood covered by soft paper soaked with a mix of PVA glue and water (50/50%). Now I can start the painting.

Thank you Peter, you could use those cars to bring your girlfriend to the restaurant during this period of history !

Just finished the first color with my airbrush, Tamiya XF13 for the vehicules and a mix of Tamiya XF21 (80%) and XF13 (20%) for the tanks, the tracks are painted Tamiya brown XF10.
