Wow !!!

Beautiful pictures.
Really really beautiful cuirassiers.

For the prussian regiment : is it the 3rd, 5th or 11th regiment ?
Is the coat yellow or light buff ? Perhaps the camera is changing a little the color.
Only the 2nd regiment had a yellow coat...
The horse housings designs proposed by Strelets are not the good one (for prussian regiment) but, for a game, I really think we don't care...

Your regiments are very impressive

I think I will look better at Strelets GNW cavalry sets in a near future.
Many many thanks for this beautiful pictures.

Ps : What is the rule you are using ?
The bases seem to be for DBA system, isn't it ?
Very interesting...

Nice work captainzlog.

Don't know if you can get your hands on the Fine Scale Factory Prussian cuirassiers but those are excellent.

Here's one I painted a few years ago (used a horse from Revell's Austrian dragoons set):

Thanks for the compliments - that is supposed to be the 5th Regiment - the color reference I had said "straw" and this pale yellow looked fairly close to the coats I had seen Hessian reenactors wearing recently. I am on a low budget and only use cheap acrylic craft paints from Wal Mart

I had thought of using horses from Revell 1806 Kurassiers which I can buy locally very cheap, but decided to use what I had in the set for now

I have not really considered rules yet until I have enough troops bought and painted, but I used this site as my starting point to give me an idea about organization and basing http://www.edinburghwargames.com/DKK%20Units.htm
Nothing's going to happen unless I can find some Austrian Artillery for less than a King's ransom though :nono:
