Well... excellence...
In my point of view: whenever the painting becomes that bloody detailed that you can't imagine it's 1/72. Some of you guys here bring that many details into your figures that I'm getting envious time after time. Okay - for my own figures I dislike it when there are dark rims around every painted zone (no matter how large it is). It's simply not my stile, but I'm always deeply impressed of it.

I dunno how fast you people are in painting, but if I put that many time into one figure, I won't be able to complete more than one per week.

I want quantity and quality.

IMHO, if I'm going to invest my time in painting, I would rather paint the best sculpt and the best to my ability.

I can wait.

I tend to prefer quality, ;-)
but if quantity means possible variations of the same fig, by swapping separate accessories and bod parts, then quantity is equally important! :headbang:

Well... after being here for some months and learning much, my quality - as far as I would say - has really improved. Unfortunately, this improvement also increased the time I'm working on a figure in order to make it as perfect as possible for me - which resulted in an even greater decrease of quantity... :angry3:

Well if it is 10 figures than ten painted like hell, if it is 100 than it should be painted medium quality...I prefer when I paint kit smaller numbers of figures in it, because than it doesn't drag me to rush, and I can dedicate to each figure...I can do it slowly and enjoy...

i was use to have both..quantity and quality..
i played wargame in a hard place where if the figs are not well and exactly painted as for them will be you can leave the table and quickly..
quantity and quantity is a business of a good hand and a good work routine..
never be bored and never give up..
give the pony now..
