Long registration times in this forum

Hello, I am having significant difficulties reading and posting in the forum. Sometimes it takes me 10 minutes to load a page. The loading speed is normal in other forums. Can anyone assist me or explain this?

Jurghen, I have the same problem, today it's the first day I can enter after one week of attempts !
I try to enter, long minutes of waiting then the system stops the attempt ("the site is not responding").

The server, where this forum is located is no longer able to support the traffic. So Benno has to move it to another Server, which is a giant job and he need a calm period of time, he doesn't have at the moment, That's what I know. I have the same problems and I hope he will find the time to fix it, so the forum can grow up again. I think a lot of members turned away because of the problem. I hope they will come back.

Thanks for the explanation, Jan. I've also been having trouble loading the forum page for several weeks. Now I can rest easy, knowing it's just a matter of time and patience before everything returns to normal.

Sometimes, when it's happening frequently, I am afraid to leave the sight. It always comes back eventually. I am glad someone is willing to put in the work to maintain it.

I have been absent from this forum for more than half a year, essentially because a number of rather unpleasant things were going on in my “real” life (i.e. not the one I am having in 1/72 scale) that required my full attention. Now I am ready to come back to Benno’s – and the first thing I have to learn is that those server problems have returned, too.
Let’s hope that this can be fixed soon, but I understand that moving the whole forum to a new server will be no easy task…

I've tried to enter to the forum for months, always I tried I was unable, waiting minutes and minutes and nothing. First time I am able to get in! indeed this must be killing the forum. Even if it had to have more advertising, it would be better to move to a free domain than can handle the amount of users.
