Zvezda Castle Parts

Posted by Auggie on 26 Oct 2018, 14:53

I just got the Zvezda Castle 8510. I have seen some accessories that can be added onto this kit.
Towers, both round and square, inside buildings, bridges, tower extensions, etc.
I can't track any of these down.
I have visited several online shops, but these items are usually out of stock.
Does anyone have a source for these items, that are actually still in stock?
Thanks!

Lots of Zvezda stuff on E BAY shops.

Are you able to post pictures of the castle you have. That might raise much more interest with fellow members. BB

I often thought of buying this kit but not under that producers name.
I would love to see what is actually in the box. A real good review would be brilliant. :-D BB

Here is the back of the box. A good guide as it shows Zvezda figures. The Miniart Castle would marry up nicely with this kit,and is far cheaper to buy.BB

Thought all their castles was quite expensive, so I waited. For too long apparently. :eh: I have no idea how many of their castles that really went in to production, I suspect that some of them just got to the picture stadium. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/256060-zvezda-8527-castle-of-lancelot Anyhow, bought the Miniart castle http://miniart-models.com/products/72005/ and it was almost half the price to Zvezda. Haven't really started with it yet. The best in castle, IMHO, is Valdemar's,
http://www.valdemarminiatureforum.com/g76-Valdemar-modular-castle.html but it is very expensive and I don't think all of it is available anymore.

I have two castles.

One is the Italeri 6104 one, complete with figures

Image

The other one is from Miniart 72005

Italeri and Zvezda are the same moulds for the castles. And yes I think you can mix them with the Miniart castle, or pieces of it.

Two good editions to add together and quite helpful to place them here too Peter.
:read: "That`s all three English 2`s added here in one sentence.", said the well read Bookworm!
:sst: "bb, sure looks after you guys in written english." "The little button never speaks in capitals, because of himself having choked upon a rather large fat EE BY GUM once ."

This being his topic,i had hoped to have encouraged our fellow member Auggie, to post pictures of his rare period piece castle. I guess if one has trouble posting photographs there is not much one can do about that ?

:coffee: ee by gum, means a surprise and here a wonderment half expected. BB

I bought two of the Miniart castle, and one of the Imex castle that seemed better quality. Not had time or energy to do anything with them, the miniart boxes seems good for kit bashing and allows you to create something unique, been thinking of a "In the name of the rose" setting, monks and protective walls.

Hi fellas,
Sorry, I have been away from the forum for awhile.
The Zvesda castle that I have is pretty basic. Some walls joining 4 round towers, with a gate with a draw bridge.
It's the one shown on the back of the box, earlier in the threads.
Thanks for all the replies. I was looking for where to buy some extra walls, towers etc.
But thanks!
