Sad news !

Pascal Danjou passed away yesterday, after a long and terrible fight against a bad disease.

For those who do not know him,Pascal was the owner and book editor of "Editions du Barbotin" with Minitracks magazine, Focus, Trackstory and Century Tracks.

He was also the "Head leader", "the Boss", as we liked to call him, of the french braille scale Forum "Minitracks".

A great gentleman goes away and I will never forget the man with whom I had the chance to collaborate on the magazine Minitracks. I will never forget that I am a little out of the shadows thanks to him when he asked me to become an author in his review.

His knowledge and advice on the France 40 period will be missed by us all.

He will miss us all, I will miss him.

Sad to hear this.
A good part of his valuable work will be passed on and thus he‘ll be well remembered.
This may be no comfort for the bereaved at the moment, but I like the idea that his name will live on due to his work.

I've read the sad new elsewhere.
Pascal Danjou made a difference for small-scale modelers in many parts of the world.
I think it's important to remember colleagues like him in this brotherhood we the smallscale modelers have.
Hope the french modelers can take the flame and continue with his work.
