Pandemics

Asian flu in 1957-8 killed between 1 and 4 million.

Hong Kong flu in 1968 killed about a million

Coronavirus has quite a bit to go to catch up

Hello!
Here are my latest purchases: the assyrians of germania figuren.

A little breakage but three times nothing. By cons I find that the mass has a handle too thin, as well as the spears. The arrows supplied are too big. but apart from these small details, they are superb very detailed figurines. I can't wait to paint them.

Some new stuff I want to use for dioramas. Masking tape, balsa wood, 3D cardboard sheets and some figures. Those zvezda figures are great. Drakkar from Smer is ... well it's an old kit :-D

These are my latest acquisitions for now: Caesar Miniatures' US modern soldiers, Revell's M966 TOW missile carrier and a bulk of Arab civilians (some painted and some unpainted) from a very cheap and unknown Chinese manufacturer. :yeah:

I would need them for a diorama that I mentally designed some time ago about the participation of the Spanish army in a peace mission in Iraq. I have called it "Patrol in Iraq", althought I can't assure that it will see the light sometime.
