Water Wheel from Packaging

I bought four spools of garden wire ,for my wattle fences. However another opportunity is easily in the making for a water wheel construction.

Two stuck together once the larger side of plastic is cut off one ,and the plastic face cut away from the other will form a simple wheel when aligned up and glued together.

With a dowel through the middle acting as a spindle ,and card stuck into place to form paddles one has a very simple water wheel indeed, and with very little effort involved.

This is of course just outlining the basics needed to do this conversion.

How one wishes to dress the wheel up further and perhaps mount it,is a matter of personal choice.

I often use packaging to make things, but i thought just this once i`d pass the suggestion on without making one.

£3.49 was the cost of 3 spools of wire. The wheel comes into being for free. :-D BB
