Just some thoughts, used the above for years and now use Wargames foundry paints if I have the colour , White , I use their Austrian white pallet for base and shade and a pure white to highlight . Vallejo paints are much better if stored upside down, when you then use them you get a nice flat matt finish. I have always found Yellow to be the colour that causes the most frustration, no matter what brand, enamel or acrylic it often takes many coats to cover the primer/undercoat. GW pots in the past tend to dry out in the pot, the newer tubs are better, not experienced it yet with them ,but have less of them and rarely use them these days.
