During early period of WWI Germans had feldrau uniform. This colour had greenish tone. But in real life feldgrau dyestaff left saturation, and uniform became wide range of dirty shades. Since 1915-1916 feldgrau was changed by Steingrau (usual grey colour).
For early WWI germans I use Valejjo or Tamya Fieldrey. For late Germans any grey colour. For the best result it's need to add some earth shades to the basic colours.
