Hi Donald,

A sharp blade will be handy to remove flash, if needed.

Hi ,
as my figure are allways ready for paint, you normally Need no reducing of sprue block or flesh.
As the rifle normally are casted extra in pewter you have to glue this the the figure. Super Glue is
the best result. I prefer "Loctite" from USA , only Little drop with a pick.
Than you have to prime the figure, but this should also be done with pewter figure, so it is the same. I use cheap primer from Automotive section.
After this you could paint with each colour you used normally. Acrylic or Emanel
Ciao and looking Forward for the result.

Well,I gave them a dip in hot, soapy water (like I do with all figures). Didn't harm them even if it was a waste of time. I've coated them with Vallejo white primer.

I should get around this weekend to doing a bit of painting.

Quick question: is sanding resin an issue? I seem to remember hearing the dust isn't great.

Their are different type of resin. the one we use is without Problem.
In China there is a lot of stonepowder in the resin. Very fine, and when you work with it you get it in your breath. Also old Version give sometime Problem.

If you sandpaper a lot, may be better to use a STAUB masks
