Saxon Train d´Equipage - Cover of wagons?

Posted by sansovino on 30 Jan 2015, 21:48

I am working actually on a 1812 diorama of a saxon-french camp on the road to Moscou. I have painted and alternate mostly all its figures and wagons, but I can´t find any information which colours had the saxon wagons. I have found some images of 7YW-saxon-wagons but not one from the Napoleonic Era. Has anybody more informations of their wagon-colours?

I know that the colours of their cannons and wagons were mostly dark-grey. But which colour had the textille covers of their supply- and ammunition-wagons?
