Battle of Waterloo 18/19/20 June 2010

I was there in 2006 together with Hans.
Some 1000 re-enactors made a good show of it.
What will 3000+ do?
I'll ask Hans again for this year.
Hopefully he can draw his attention away from 1917 Cambrai!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Amazing Week-end even if the weather wasn't cool... :( I received the biggest shower of my life...
Sadly because of the weather we didn't have a lot of time into the different bivouac...
I will try to put photos this week-end...!!

I'll be back next year with a better weather I hope...

Nice pictures, I really like the pic of the French infantry marching under a cloudy sky, reminds of a painting I saw somewhere. I like that it was reenacted on the battlefield but I really don't like that silly mound that they made after the battle. I prefer having a battlefield preserved 'as is'.

Sorry I have to dissepoint you Chris, bur I wasn't there. Took these pictures from a newspapersite.

My plan is to go in 2015. The 200 year anniversery. And I will have first rank places, like I had in 1995 (ordered months in advance with hotel reservation).
