Today I was happy to visit FIGZ 2014. As always it was very wel organised and lot to enjoy.

A very big thank you to Benno and his dad for making this possible.

here are my impression of this year's FIGZ.
Once again it was GREAT. :headbang:

Thanks Benno and Remco that you makes everything possible, a thousand times thanks.
Thanks to all the others who are there. It was a pleasure. Special thanks to Peter for the cake, fantastic. :king:

I had a lot of fun, lots of laughter, lots of good conversations, unfortunately again spent too much money.
In short, it was a perfect day in painting paradies. :love:

And it seems to me that Peter have made many bowstrings, but saved the hair of his daughter in law. Probably better this way. :-D

It was nice meeting some of you in real life!

I enjoyed me visit very much and was happy to relief Martin of some of his boxed figures :-)

So...now I realize me nickname here isn't Sint-something-something at all....but my wicked 20 year old gaming name! Haha.

Next year I will “bring and show” some pieces myself, I hope...

Andy also sent me his photos over. On one of them is a wargame about the Balkan wars. Who made this and are there any close ups of the conversions? This subject is teasing me.

Hello all,

It was a cool FIGZday, and looking at all those happy people I knew why I organize FIGZ ;-)

Again not so much visitors, even a interview on Dutch National radio didn't work.
But I always see FIGZ like a familyday, and for that it was 200% right in my opinion.
I did made a few picures with my cellphone who ar on facebook, will upload them here as well this week (a bit busy at the moment).
For those who where on FIGZ, thanks for helping me (also the help at the end was suber guys)
I realy enjoy the whole day, including the Vlaai from Peter (did take 2 pieces :oops:

)
The painting competition sponsered by Martin, thanks well done mate!
The gamers, shops but most of all the guys who showed there work.
Also I was woundering if someone did take a picture of my Asterix series, cause I forgot, hahahaha
The date for FIGZ 2015 (our 10th meeting) will be on 07-06-2015.
We are thinking about a "dump your wife corner", with tv-series "desperate housewife" running nonstop, lots of make up and Martin as Chippendeal, a bikini show with me and Benno in the Jury, but have to work that out :mrgreen:

Well I guess we will see more photo's here, including those of Andy.
About the wargame, it's from the dutch wargamers "De Achterhoede", and I will email them about your question Uwe.
Well back to work, and hope to see more FIGZ PICS here soon :camera:

By what I have seen in the way of work done on those very neat and tidy tables, I know this I Love it All! Asterix, I have always had a fondness for.So it raised well a nice smile with me too. Splendid Phalanx and it is very tempting to do one,but Mrs B will not let me anywhere near another new Yard Brush! Thank you for all the nice photo`s it was good to reflect upon others having a nice day. BB
