I've been meaning to post these pictures for a while. I attended the Put-in-Bay Camporee with our Boy Scout troop about three weeks ago. This year also happened to be the bi-centennial of the War of 1812. An important part of that war was the Battle of Lake Erie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Lake_Erie). We camped right underneath the Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial and spend the weekend involved in all kinds of activities, including visiting lots of reenactors. Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me, but did manage to take a few pictures with my mobile phone.

Reenactors
Note that most of the reenactors are National Park Service employees. For more information, see here: http://www.nps.gov/pevi/index.htm
We may go back next year for the bi-centennial of the Battle of Lake Erie and I'll make sure to take more and better pictures then!
