Bases!

Posted by Sander on 28 Oct 2007, 16:24

Hoi ya all!

Since you discussed basing for wargames a while ago I thought let's show how I base my cavalry for wargaming:

The bases are Games Workshop pre fabricated. The single mini's are on regular cavalry bases and the bigger bases with 2 figures are on monsterbases.

Cheers Sander

The good old GW bases. I've got quite a few of them still in a box somewhere. They are however quite expensive for very large armies... A thin piece of balsa wood (or plastic card) would do the trick too. :-)

Here's a link to a list with GW bases. Sander used the 20x40mm and 40x40mm bases, right?

Great figs btw.

Hi all

Just thought would say hi, and say something about bases

For many many years I have made bases out of everything from Artboard to Plasticard, even ceral packets ( I was young), but I have to say after discovering Litko bases I will never use anything else, they are very good, accurate, hardwearing and dont bend horribly , and available in nearly any size imaginable

Oh I dont work for Litko or anything just in case thats what you were thinking :-)
