I would like to paint a polish army, but I don't have a lot of documents or images with painted uniforms from that army.

If you have any?

And what about 1/72 existing soldiers in which mark?

From waterloo 1815 and strelets you can find figures. Look at PSR under periods, napoleonic wars an there Poland.
The waterloo 1815 figures are in the stile of esci, but a solid base for polish infantry. :-)

For strelets you must like their style of sculping. I have both sets with polish infantry an most of them i like, especally the faces. ;-)

Also you can find some very fine metall-figures from art-minaturen at schmaeling.de, esp. artillery. :-D

You can also use french cuirassiers fore the grandduchy of warschau. The uniform is the sam, they have only other colours.

For the 1812 campaign you can take the french chasseurs a cheval also for polish mounted chasseurs and don't forget the esci polish lancers.

I think the italeri hussars will work for polish hussars, too.

Take a look at schmaeling.de for the red guard lancers. The most beautiful lancers I've ever seen.

For the infantry many polish regiments wore the regular french uniform.
