Help identifying figures

Posted by armpcm on 26 Feb 2014, 11:27

Good morning mates,

I gave to a friend some figures he was looking for or would use, then he surprised me saying to be aware for some figures in my mail box, and I was  when i received the box.

So for the most part of these they will end up in the marketplace, he said it when I talked to him because he knows my favorite eras, and its his way of saying thanks.

So here are the figures, the easy ones are the boxed ones, and some say I Kore and Ral Path on the base, as for the others I don´t know, can you please help me?

Hello armpcm,
The ones I can help with are:

4th pic...GW High Elves
10th pic...top row,fig 5 is Essex, last fig is a GW from the late 80's
bottom row, 1st fig is a Hinchliffe fig from their Robin Hood range, late 70's/ early 80's.
12th pic....Essex knight, 2nd fig GW .
13th pic... 1 and 5 are Essex. 2,3 and 6 are Hinchliffe. The horses are a mixture of both
Last pic... I think are all Ikore.

Only I can help with are 4th pic (already done) and two thirds of the eleventh (I think) pic. The luteplayer and the chair are Mithril. A girl is missing from the set. And according to this site http://mithril.faerylands.eu/display.php?reference=M120 it is very rare. But I have a set and Pascal probably knows about the real rarity of it. :-)

@ KGV, Peter and Susofrick

Thank you very much for the info, later at evening I will try to put the identification on the pictures.

What you guys think is this of any interest for anyone? if yes they go for trade or donation, if not they will remain at the end of the pile.

it's M120 "Seated Lute Player and Girl" and the set is complete because the girl is here:

2nd row, the girl in the middle ! (you can read under the base MITHRIL and the reference (M120a or M120b).

you want to sell them ?? hum....

It's possible that the other figures are old ones and maybe some Ral Partha are rare too and hard to find ? :eh:
(not sure but the round base is a particularity of Ral Partha figures ? )
maybe this could help you for the identification :

hello armpcm,
the figs in pic 5 are from "Hobby products" also knows as "Metal Magic" produced in Oberhausen/Germany. Sadly Hobby Products got lost in the 90s.
Figs in Pic 13 and 15 could be by Essex or Dixon

cheers

Good Morning to all, and armpcm, thanks for returning to this topic.

VIK 025 Bondi from WARGAMES FOUNDRY, See a nice picture and you even have the names. These are available on their E Bay shop. The thing I hate most about buying metal figures is you don`t have them come in nice neat boxes. So once they are out of the packageing and mix up with others they are very difficult to identify. Lucky yours were still in the package.

Did you sell them on armpcm? BB

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the reply, these Vikings are still at the stash for swaps, for those that cannot see the only figures that have left the house are the Mithril Seated Lute-Player & Girl and a couple of the i-Kore Void "robots", I hope it helps.

I'd volunteer for the lute player and his companions, as well as the townfolks from the pic the missing lute player set girl is on (10th pic if I can still count).
