I need a help in form of tutorial, how to make a sharpened spikes, on bottom on the pit, that were used to stop infantry...

1 72 scale, Napoleonic period...It need only to be spiked pikes putted in pit...

I suppose, if they were to be 3D, ie; built into the Terrain they would look a bit like this;

I´d make them by cutting a hole in some polystyrene, and adding sone Pins in the bottom.
or, without making deep holes with actual Spikes, you could represent them like this (Roman "lilias" on the Antonine wall)

Here are very cheap spikes! I`ve just stuck them in Blue Tack,and added some figures that are part way finished. hope this helps you.Image....Image.....Image

I found some old Zvezda spikes from English infantry 100years war...There are 3 of them, I found friend who have more...
