WW2 tanks and AFV washing color

what is a good washing collour for late brittish WWII tanks+afv? can i use a darkbrown, or not?
adviceces are most welcome! a PM is okay asswell ;-)

A dark brown could work, also a dark green. For my 11th AD I used simply black wash. Have a look: ... t-8416728/

I swear by GW inks, use Badab Brown as my wash for German armour, then a heavy dry-brush/layer of Vallejo Middle stone to bring back the main colour, then finish off with what ever colour scheme your cam will be.
