Question for UK / Continental Brothers

Posted by Von Roon on 17 Jul 2012, 04:38

I use housepaint for miniatures. One company has a custom color machine that will match color swatches from other paint lines. I'm looking for what we call "fan decks" -- strips with different colors fastened at one end that fan out so you can see all the colors made by a paint or ink manufacturer. I have most major US brands and also Pantone matching system. I was wondering if anyone in UK or Europe could let me know about large paint makers and their fan decks -- maybe, for a small fee, pick one up for me?

Also looking for an inexpensive copy of RAL D2 color standard (not the RAL classic, with 270 colors, but the D2 graphic design book, with 1,600 plus colors). Anyone have a source, or (dream of dreams) an old copy laying around your print shop that you'd part with for a modest sum?

Thanks! But I need a hard copy -- flier, fan book, something -- so that my local guys can match it. They can't match off the web. I emailed Dulux before original post without result. Could anyone help me get a Dulux fan book?
