International Small Scale Convention 2013 Heiden
Last Saturday we were with a group of the Benno's Figures Forum present at the International Small Scale Convention in Heiden, which is focused on 28mm miniatures and smaller. Although the number of visitors was a bit lower than last year it was still a great day to catch up with old friends and to meet some new faces. Welcome to our new moderator: Kekso
My name is Dalibor Cavic (Kekso) and I live in Croatia. I'm a 37 years old chemical engineer who loves to drink beer, to cook and to paint 1/72 and 54mm scale figures. Then I remembered my teenager ages when I tried to paint ESCI Roman legion and Dragon British Desert rats in 1/35 scale. They remained unfinished but my love for small scale figures was reborn.
My greatest goal (as painter) is to make Battle of Borodino 1812 diorama in 1/72 scale with more than 500 figures. Yeah, not much for some of you but for me it will be a big... Read more »
The New Forum
After more than 500 hours of hard work, late nights, going through millions of lines of code, occasional swearing when something didn't work, having a sore back from sitting in front of the laptop all day, not being able to enjoy the nice sunny weather outside, it's finally finished: the new forum! At first sight it might look like it's only a new graphical design but there's much more! Let me highlight some of the coolest new features:
Like button
A feature that will make life so much easier for many of us who sometimes don't feel like replying but still want to show they like it. In stead of going through the trouble of writing a reply you can now easily "like" it!
